Your course mentor – Diplomas only

Your course mentor is there to support you throughout your wellness learning journey at ASWA. After your enrolment is finalised, they’ll contact you to discuss your study plan, schedule and how you can best manage your time. Regular check-ins are scheduled fortnightly or monthly, as suits your personal and work schedule. These can be via phone, skype, zoom or various other connection platforms.

Your course mentors leverage your strengths and align your learning with your broader life purpose. and career goals. Capitalising on their own professional experience, your course mentor works with you from the moment that you start your program, from guiding you to drive your own personal success strategy, to coaching you to successfully navigate the educational landscape and build personal and professional capability to enhance your employability outcomes including  leadership, career transitions, self-employment and entrepreneurship.

With a focus on your personal and career goals, combined with your personal values and strengths, identified through your learning journey, your course mentor takes a strengths-based approach to engage with, guide and motivate you for successful study, career and work-life balance. *Applies to Diploma programs only.

Yes, the ASWA Diploma courses are accredited and nationally recognised by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) so you can be sure that you will receive the highest standard of training available.

The ASWA Wellness Within personal wellness program is well respected and provides you with a certificate upon completion. Note that this program does not result in a nationally recognised qualification.

You have the freedom and flexibility to complete your course as quickly or as slowly as suits you. Depending on your previous level of professional experience and how long it’s been since you have undertaken learning, a guideline of hours per week to allow for learning are:

Nationally recognised Diplomas – 1 to 4 hours per week (1 to 2 hours of learning and research PLUS 1 to 2 hours of tasks/projects/activities)

Note: Assessment in Diploma courses consists of 12 projects over 12 months. These include highly relevant and interesting case studies, activities and practical projects. Many of our students use their current workplace as the basis for the projects in their learning program to practice their newfound wellness and leadership skills.  The project hours are in addition to the 2 study hours per week and are dependent on your individual level of  work and study experience and the needs of your organisation. On average, aim to allocate 4 hours per week and to complete one project per month.

Wellness Within Individual Wellness program – 1 hour x 8 Principles of Wellness = 8 hours total

We are here to serve you. To add value to your wellbeing – personally and professionally. Enrolments in our courses are accepted all year round to suit your life and work schedule. As our courses are all self-paced, you can complete it as quickly or as slowly as you like.

The course fee for ASWA Diploma programs is AU$9,950 and is GST exempt, including a deposit of $1500.00

Payment Options

You can choose one of the following Five Options:

 

Option One – 12-months (Full-time)

Deposit of $1500.00, then 12 equal monthly payments of $704.17

Deposit of $1500.00, then 52 equal weekly payments of $162.50

 

Option Two – 24 months (Part-time)

Deposit of $1500.00, then 24 equal monthly payments of $352.08

Deposit of $1500.00, then 104 equal weekly payments of $81.25

 

Option Three – Where an employer or organisation is funding the training,

$2700.00 – Commencement of Training

$2,700.00 – 2 months after enrolment date

$2,700.00 – 6 months after enrolment date

$1,850.00 – 8 months after enrolment date

 

Option Four – You choose the $amounts and Dates that suit your business budget requirements (maximum 6 payments) and equals the total of AU$9,950.00 course fee.

 

Option Five – Yes, we can provide a customised payment solution that suits your organisation’s budgeting needs.

Payment Details

  • All payment plan agreements are required to be finalised by the month prior to the course completion, unless negotiated otherwise.
  • Payment plan will be activated on initial payment of first instalment (there will be a $2.00 administrative charge for set up)
  • The payment plan is to be carried out according to the payment arrangement option as originally chosen.
  • Direct debit payments are to be arranged by the Learner with their bank/online banking.
  • Late payment will incur a late payment fee of 2% for every 14 days overdue.
  • Non-payment or dishonoured payment will incur a $10.00 reprocessing fee for each dishonour.
  • Non-payment will be charged and all cost to recover all outstanding amounts plus the Debt Collection Fee and charges.
  • This agreement must be maintained to retain access to the course.
  • The Standard Enrolment is for 12 months. Extensions are available at an administration fee of $100.00 for 12 months. This does not apply for 24-months part-time enrolments.

 

AUSTUDY

The Australian government also offers Austudy which is financial assistance that is available for for full-time students aged 25 years or more.

Eligibility basics are as follows:

  • aged 25 years or more, and
  • studying full-time in an approved course at an approved educational institution.

Our partnership with Southern Cross University provides you with up to 8 units of advanced standing/credit into the Bachelor of Business and the Bachelor of Business in Tourism and Hospitality Management.

Most Universities will give you credit for up to for up to 4 (elective) subjects into their Business degree or Management Degree programs. This is equivalent to approximately one term. This is up to the discretion of the University to which you apply.

Absolutely, we believe in giving credit where credit is due.

We offer flexible entry based on previous studies. If you’ve taken a course somewhere else where you have completed the same units that are in the ASWA Diploma, we’ll give you credit for it. If you have relevant work experience that will help you with your Diploma, you can apply to have that recognised too. Simple!

To apply for credits for the units of competency that you have completed elsewhere, email us with all the relevant information that includes the units that you want to get credit for, transcripts or statements of attainment.

For Non-Diploma Programs (including Wellness Within)

Unhappy is not in our DNA so if, within the first week of paying for your program, you are unhappy with your program for any reason, you can contact us via phone, email or through the feedback function within the student portal to request your full refund.

For Diploma Programs (regardless of payment option)

  • Prior to commencement—should ASWA cancel a course before it commences, participants will be offered alternate dates (if the training is being rescheduled). If the training is not rescheduled or the dates offered do not suit the participants all fees paid by participants will be refunded in full within 10 days of the training being cancelled.
  • For training that has commenced—In the unlikely event that ASWA is unable to deliver the training the participant will be offered the option to enrol with another RTO and Prestige Service Training RTO 31981 will assist in both finding a suitable RTO and in the transition to the new RTO.
  • If a Learner cancels their enrolment before the commencement date of a course a refund of all monies paid in advance is payable except for a $200.00 administration fee.
  • If a Learner withdraws during the course a refund will be awarded however; Deposit of $1,500.00 will be non-refundable Plus $ 768.18 per unit of study (E.g. if a Learner has commenced 3 units and withdraws from the course, Prestige will hold the deposit PLUS $ 2304.54, total of $ 2404.54 non-refunded)
  • Further details regarding Prestige Service Training’s refund policy are available in the Learner Handbook.
  • All requests for a refund must be made in writing using the Refund Application Form.

Refunds may take 2-4 weeks to process.
