Refunds for all non-accredited programs:

If, within the first week of paying for any non-accredited program, you are unhappy with the program for any reason, you can contact us via the contact us form, email or through the feedback function within the student portal to request a refund.

Refunds may take 2-4 weeks to process.


Refunds regarding the Accredited Diploma of Wellness Leadership Program:

A student will receive a refund if:

If student withdraws 14 days or more prior to commencement date of course – full refund.

If student withdraws 7-14 days prior to commencement date of course – 50% refund.

If student withdraws 7 days or less prior to commencement date of course – nil refund.

Application for refund form can be obtained from ASWA and must be completed. For cancellations after the commencement date, supporting documentation must also be presented.

Refunds may take 2-4 weeks to process.

Appeals: A person who is refused a refund may, within fourteen (14) days after written notice is given, apply to the Director for re-consideration of the refusal.



Whilst every endeavour will be made to conduct all advertised courses, ASWA reserves the right to change or cancel timetables, class locations, training consultants and other such details or circumstances beyond our control that affect enrolments. Every effort will be made to advise participants of any changes. Should a course be cancelled, participants automatically receive a refund.

Yes absolutely, the government has Austudy available which is financial help for full-time students aged 25 years or more.

Eligibility basics are as follows:

  • aged 25 years or more, and
  • studying full-time in an approved course at an approved educational institution

For employees and the self-employed – you can potentially claim this as a work related, self education expense when:

  • in doing so you maintained or improved a skill or specific knowledge required for your current work activities, as part of your professional development,
  • you could show that the course was leading to, or was likely to lead to, increased income from your current work activities, or
  • other circumstances existed which established a direct connection between the course and your current work activities.

Please check with your accountant or taxation consultant before enrolling to confirm whether our courses would be applicable as a work related, self education expense for your individual tax return.


For employers –  you can potentially claim this as a business training or education expense when:

  • in doing so the employee/s maintained or improved a skill or specific knowledge required for the current or planned business activities,
  • in doing so the employee/s gained skills that are required for the current or planned business activities and that are lacking,
  • you could show that the course was leading to, or was likely to lead to, increased income from your current or planned business activities, or
  • other circumstances existed which established a direct connection between the course and your current or planned work activities.

Most professional industry associations will recognise up to 20 CPE points for completion of ASWA programs.

Our partnership with Southern Cross University provides you with up to 8 units of advanced standing/credit into the Bachelor of Business and the Bachelor of Business in Tourism and Hospitality Management.

Most Universities will give you credit for up to for up to 4 (elective) subjects into their Business degree or Management Degree programs. This is equivalent to approximately one term. This is up to the discretion of the University to which you apply.

1. $1,500 (paid upon enrolment) then 104 equal weekly instalments of $81.25 per week – you have 2 years to complete your course

2. $1,500 (paid upon enrolment) then 52 equal weekly instalments of $162.50 per week – you  can complete your course in 1 year

We believe in paying it forward and we have 6 scholarships available in the year 2018 to 2019, ranging from 40% to 80% of your course fees, to enable and empower change-makers like you to achieve their dreams. Eligibility basics are as follows:

  • Be over 21 years of age;
  • Have a minimum of 3 years work experience;
  • Have access to a workplace to conduct their projects (their own or another workplace);
  • Possess the traits of a wellness leader (2 personal and 2 professional references to be provided);
  • Be an ASWA Ambassador by demonstrating a burning desire to drive positive change through your commitment to personal, workplace and/or community wellness.

Depending on your previous level of experience and which course you are enrolling into, a guideline of hours per week to allow for study of the Diploma programs are:

Accredited Diploma of Wellness – 1 to 2 hours per week (1 hours of research and reading plus 1 hour of activities)

Note: Assessment in this course includes highly relevant and interesting case studies, activities and projects. Many of our students use their current workplace as the basis for the projects in their study program to practice their newfound skills.  The project hours are in addition to the 2 study hours per week and are dependent on your individual level of experience and current workplace.


Wellness Within Personal Wellness program – 1 hour per session (8 sessions)

Step 1: If you are looking to begin your personal journey to achieve and sustain wellness with a holistic introduction to wellness principles, then the Wellness Within personal wellness program is the ideal course for you.

Step 2: If you are considering a career change, adding to your skill set, transitioning to a new role or industry, or leading the workplace  wellness program in your workplace, then the Diploma of Wellness is the ideal next step for you.

Step 3: If you are a spa manager or owner, or aspire to be a spa or wellness manager or business owner, then the ideal next step for you is the Diploma of Wellness Spa Management Program.

Yes, ASWA’s Diploma courses are nationally recognised with Australian accreditation so you can be sure that you will receive the highest standard of training available.

The ASWA Wellness Within personal wellness program is well respected and provides you with a certificate upon completion. Note that this course does not result in a nationally accredited qualification.

If you can’t find the answer online, our supportive online wellness community is open 24-7 as your ‘go to’ for extra resources, guidance and support. Absolutely, we believe in giving credit where credit is due.

We offer flexible entry based on previous studies and work experience. If you’ve taken a course somewhere else, we’ll give you credit for it. If you have relevant work experience that will help you with the Diploma of Wellness, you can apply to have that recognised too. Simple!

To have your previous experience recognised follow these easy steps:

  • Read and complete the RPL application form
  • Email your completed form to the course co-ordinator when you begin your first class, with all the relevant information that includes the subjects you want to get credit for, transcripts and subject outlines for past courses.

Remember, it’s important that you complete this form at the start of your studies because we can’t give you credit later in the course.
